Finally, A non-partisan information-clearing house that doesn't put you to sleep! The disenfranchised can now feel politically connected with this hip new site. It lives up to its description of "Politics in the Raw" by dispensing with the usual text-laden, dull format of other political sites and providing a bare-bones (but groovy) look that belies the fact that it's actually a smorgasbord of information.

The serious and the irreverent share space here, where you can glean all the political information you need and still have time to participate in the "where in the world is Osama Bin Laden?" survey. (My answer wavered between "recruiting in Tampa, FL" and "in pieces") See the latest news headlines and read interesting, humorous articles. Register to vote, look up a government official or take "the world's smallest political quiz." (http://www.self-gov.org/wspq.html) Check out The Center for Responsive Politics link for financial info (or "who is giving what to whom") (http://www.opensecrets.org/), then plan a visit to your favorite dead politician by following a link to The Political Graveyard (http://www.politicalgraveyard.com/) ...get the picture?

To paraphrase the site's own description, the viewer is urged-and inspired-to "keep in touch...register to vote...make a difference...speak your voice... and have fun!" With links to state and national political parties, government directories, savvy articles, the latest news and humorous books and sites, we can all do just that at Political Sushi.

Political Spin:
Although not outrageous or over-the-top like the Political Gossip sites that crowd the 'net waves, this cool site is refreshing to folks seeking to avoid obtuse clutter, yet garner valuable political info. It's a great, clean, easy-to-navigate site that serves as a "non-partisan resource for all things political and news-related."
